On Saturday May 20, 2023 TWIGS in partnership with the Holt Dojo helped two families facing cancer to get their yards ready for this outdoor season. To say these Dojo students and their families worked hard would be an understatement. Beth the Executive Director and Founder of TWIGS visited both work sites and was greatly moved by the hard work these families did giving up their time on a Saturday to people in need. 25 volunteers shared between the two houses came out. She is so proud that her daughter Emma is a dojo student and jumped in to help as well. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping those in need and as an added bonus both houses had wonderful animals for us to enjoy. Thank you isn't enough to these volunteers.
